I am a full-time consultant, part-time blogger and occasional journalist working out of Durban, South Africa with an interest in culture/heritage, digital media and the environment - an unusual mix that, surprisingly, often comes together in the work I do.
I run a digital heritage consultancy, McN2 with my brother Grant. Shout if you want to hire us.
I also work with these cool people: The Centre for Critical Research on Race and Identity, Imagine Durban, the Ulwazi Programme and KZN Literary Tourism.
I have published articles in The Cape Times, The Independent on Saturday, Mango Juice, ArtThrob and Art South Africa, amongst others.
I write about my garden, plants and such at Sprig.
In 2005 I was awarded my Masters in English from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. My dissertation linked literature and landscape in postapartheid South Africa. More about my experience and credentials at LinkedIn.
What do I look like? Check out my Flickr page for pics of me and other cool photographs.
